Vacancy Intern Documentary & Impact production 2023

Worldvisuals Film is an international award-winning production company based in the Netherlands and South Africa. Our films have been selected for hundreds of international film festivals and have won numerous awards worldwide.

As of 1 September 2023 we are looking for an intern for a period of 4 – 6 months (3 days per week). You will assist in the development and execution of various ongoing documentary projects for Worldvisuals Film in The Netherlands and South Africa. One of our current projects is the TV documentary Life upside down for the broadcaster Human.

Tasks
You are expected to fully participate in the development and production process in order to experience and learn about the film process, from research to distribution. It’s a challenging job with responsibilities

This includes:

• Researching, and exploring opportunities in the market.
• Production assistance during film shoots.
• Establish and maintain contacts with other film professionals, film festivals, and media organizations.
• Assist in the coordination of new impact programs.

Skills & experience

• Preferably living in Amsterdam and its surroundings.
• English writing and reading skills.
• HBO/WO: communication, film, media or business.
• Entrepreneurial skills.
• Proactive, eager to learn.
• Able to work independently.
• Driving license B.

Internship fee
€ 300,- per month
